Why Choose?
This beautiful woman is Laura's sister, Sara. Her story is incredibly powerful, and it is the foundation for what we do here at Choose. Below is a quick synopsis of her powerful journey of courage and faith and the impact she made for Christ in her brief life.

Imagine…being 22 years old, having a car accident
that flips your life and your future upside down.
Imagine…being in pain for 10 years from the accident with no answers as to why.
Imagine…learning after 10 years that you have a disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis, a disease that painfully fuses your joints together and makes your body immobile.
​
Imagine… being allergic to the medications that could help the pain and the progression of the disease, as you lose your gifts and talents one by one.
​
Imagine…your autoimmune system being so compromised that you can’t fight off infections, illnesses and eventually become allergic to the air outside, leaving you confined to your home.
​
Imagine…the disease accelerating so rapidly that you are no longer able to work, you can’t walk without a walker and you can’t talk without wincing in pain.

Imagine...having your faith radically and dramatically changed in the midst of this nightmare.

Jill Miller - Singer/Songwriter and Speaker
Laura's background is in Human Resources, leadership development and culture transformation. She is a Speaker, Coach, and Teacher with the John Maxwell Team.
​
In 2011 after losing her dad and her sister, Laura found herself called to continue her sister Sara's spirt-led discipleship of CHOOSE JOY. She also shares her own journey through divorce, loss, and breast cancer.
​
Jill has a zest for life that is contagious! Through her songwriting, speaking and writing, she is simply a friend telling her story, hoping it will touch your heart, encourage you in your struggles, and inspire you to keep reaching for your full potential.
She is a Nashville Recording artist and has released 6 CD's to date. She is also a Speaker, Coach and Teacher with the John Maxwell Team.
